Authorities Search For Suspect In Brutal Miami Beach Rollerblade Assault

Miami Beach, FL - Authorities are searching for a suspect who violently assaulted a woman who was rollerblading on the city’s Beachwalk early Tuesday morning.

According to Miami Beach Police, the assault occurred around 1 a.m. near 23rd Street.

Investigators described the attack as “heinous” and are treating it as a battery.

While limited details have been released, police confirmed a struggle ensued and that the victim sustained significant injuries.

Detectives have obtained surveillance footage of the attack and released images of the suspect.

He's described as a man between 20 and 30 years old, approximately 5’8” to 5’9” tall, with tattoos on his arms.

The suspect was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and board shorts.

Officer Christopher Bess of the Miami Beach Police Department tells WPLG "Our top priority is to apprehend this dangerous individual. We are urging anyone with information to come forward immediately.”
