Shoma Group Project in North Bay Village to Include New Shoma Bazaar Food Hall

Miami ’s North Bay Village is undergoing some major transformations over the next few years. What Now reported recently on news of Palm Tree Club —a new restaurant, hotel, and marina concept from Palm Tree Crew and Continuum Company —replacing Shuckers Waterfront Bar & Grill . (This move prompted a lament in Eater Miami : “ Shuckers Closing Is Just More Proof Miami Is No Longer for Locals .”)

Now word is out about another major project happening in the area: Shoma Bay , a condo tower from Shoma Group , which will include a Publix (“With residences starting at $750,000, this might be the most bougie Publix in the state of Florida,” says the Miami New Times )—a Publix that includes a Shoma Bazaar food hall.

The original Shoma Bazaar food hall is located at 9420 NW 41 ^st Street in Doral . It’s home to a wide variety of culinary concepts, from artisan pizza shop Ash Parlor , to the Venezuelan Doggi’s Arepa Bar , to outposts of popular South Florida concepts like Doce Provisions and Sushi Sake .

News broke last summer that a second Shoma Bazaar will open in Hialeah, featuring vendors like Doggi’s Arepa Bar, La Macha, Sokai Sushi Bar , Shahs of Kabob Persian Eatery , and Amor di Pasta .

No information is available yet on the concepts opening in North Bay Village. Shoma Bay is expected to launch in 2026.
