Jose Iglesias, the New York Met and freshly minted pop star, is offloading his North Miami abode, according to Realtor.com .
The 34-year-old Havana-born shortstop, who goes by the artist pseudonym Candelita when he performs on a stage instead of the baseball field, is seeking $7.6 million for the manse. The listing is held by Susy Dunand of Coldwell Banker Realty.
According to Zillow, the just under 3,900-square-foot property hit the market this past May, shortly before Candelita’s single “OMG” hit the top slot on iTunes Latin Pop charts in June.

The contemporary waterfront residence Iglesias is looking to part with was built in 2018 and offers five bedrooms (six, if you include the flexible office space), five bathrooms and enviable outdoor amenities.
The property is set along Bayview Lane, in the Keystone Islands neighborhood, where the stand-alone homes back up onto the water and have direct access to Biscayne Bay. Iglesias’ pad is set at the end of a cul-de-sac in a guard-gated community and offers 75 feet of waterfront, as well as a 1,200-square-foot rooftop patio.
In the backyard, there’s a pool, an outdoor kitchen, covered and uncovered lounge areas and a waterfall Jacuzzi accented by Italian glass. Around the perimeter is a mosquito-mister system to ensure inhabitants can enjoy the grounds bite-free.
Additionally, there are CCTV security cameras and 12 speakers for the sake of safety and sound.

Inside, there are white ceilings and light marble floors throughout, with an open layout on the ground level.
As for why he’s moving, Iglesias and his family have a 100-acre home in rural Florida where they’ve been spending good time. “The kids just love the farm. They spent so much time there that [Jose Iglesias] told me, ‘Susy, I didn’t spend a whole six weeks in my offseason at this house. I am at the farm,’” Dunand said.
