Miami has gone from a wins over-under of 7.5 entering last year to a range of 9-9.5 now , a big jump and legitimately pushing the Hurricanes into 10-win territory. That’s a total the program’s reached just once in the last two decades.

Hopes are high UM can finally turn the corner, and today we’re taking a look at the most recent odds as it relates to Miami, courtesy of VegasInsider , which tracks eight different betting sites.

So let’s get right to it.

    ACC CHAMPIONSHIP ODDS

Miami is consistently the No. 3 pick to win the ACC title, behind Florida State and Clemson. And the Canes are pretty solidly in that third spot regardless of which of the eight betting sites you are tracking through VegasInsider. FSU ranges from +260 to +290 odds, with Clemson ranging from +260 (tied with FSU per bet365) to +360. Miami’s best odds sit at +400 from four different sites, and go as high as +450 from BetMGM and Caesars Sportsbook. No. 4 on the list is Louisville, and they trail Miami by quite a bit, ranging from odds of +550 to +750.

    NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP ODDS

The odds to win the national title tracks Miami with the 16 th best numbers, with the only opponent higher than UM on the list Florida State (10 th best odds, ranging from +1800 to +3000). Georgia (+275 to +325) and Ohio State (+300 to +450) are by far the two favorites to win the title. Miami’s odds range from +4000 to +6600, so a pretty wide disparity. The next highest opponent odds are Louisville, ranging from +6000 to +15000.

    HEISMAN TROPHY ODDS

Pretty much tied atop this list are Carson Beck and Quinn Ewers, typically at +800, with Dillon Gabriel not far behind (he has some sites at +800 as well). Miami’s Cam Ward is 10 th on the list with odds ranging from +1500 to +2500, and the highest opposing player is FSU’s DJ Uiagalelei, who is 15 th with odds ranging from +2500 to +3500. Also worth mentioning is Louisville’s Tyler Shough has odds ranging from +7500 to +12000, and UF’s Graham Mertz ranges from +10000 to +20000. The highest opposing RB lised is Cal’s Jaydn Ott at +12500 (Miami’s Damien Martinez isn’t listed). Guess who else shows up? Tyler Van Dyke, with odds ranging from +7500 to +18000.

    WIN TOTALS

As mentioned earlier, Miami’s win total over/under ranges from 9 to 9.5, and six different programs head the list with 10.5 wins as the over/under – Georgia, Notre Dame, Texas, Liberty, Ohio State and Oregon. As for Miami’s opponents? FSU has a 9.5 win over/under, Louisville’s at 8.5, Virginia Tech ranges from 8 to 8.5, USF 7.5, Syracuse ranges from 7 to 7.5, Cal 6.5, Duke 5.5, Wake Forest ranges from 4.5 to 5, Georgia Tech ranges from 4.5 to 5.5, Florida is at 4.5 and Ball State ranges from 3.5 to 4.5 wins over/under.
