Tyreek Hill has been feared and respected ever since he broke out onto the scene in Kansas City as one of the most dangerous receivers in the league.  Now, according to his peers, there's no one better in the game than him.

Hill was voted number one in the NFL Top 100 revealed on Friday night on the NFL Network.

Hill became the first wide receiver to ever receive the honor, which began prior to the 2011 season.  He also became the first Miami Dolphin to ever finish at #1.  Hill was also the first non-quarterback to top the list since 2019, when Aaron Donald came in at #1.

The voting was done solely by NFL players.  The players were provided ballots towards the end of the season, allowing them to vote for the top 20 players in the league.  The top player would receiver 20 points, number two would get 19, number three eighteen, and so on down the line.

Behind Hill came Lamar Jackson at #2, following by Christian McCaffrey, Patrick Mahomes, and Myles Garrett.

Hill has turned in back-to-back elite seasons for the Dolphins since coming over to Miami via trade during the 2022 offseason.  He posted stat lines of 119 catches for 1710 yards and 7 touchdowns in 2022, followed by 119/1799/13 last season.  Hill was potentially on pace to become the first wideout ever to reach 2000 receiving yards before an ankle injury limited him during the season's final weeks.

Hill - who's talked about focusing on the team winning playoff games rather than reaching 2000 yards - will look to put together a third straight first-team All-Pro season while helping the Dolphins win their first playoff game since December 2000.
