The Miami Marlins are back home this week and will open a four-game series with the Cincinnati Reds on Monday night at loanDepot Park. Miami is on a two-game winning streak as they split the series with the Atlanta Braves over the weekend at Truist Park.

The Reds aren't having a good season. They currently hold a 53-58 record, which puts them in last place in the National League Central division. They are coming off a disappointing series against the San Francisco Giants over the weekend, in which they got no-hit by Blake Snell on Friday and managed just four in an 8-2 loss on Sunday.

As for pitching matchups, Marlins right-hand pitcher Roddery Muñoz (2-5, 5.45 ERA) takes the mound hoping to get his third win of the season. It's been a bit of a struggle for him since being called up in April for a doubleheader. However, he had a decent outing in his last start against the Tampa Bay Rays, only allowing two runs on four hits with seven strikeouts in five innings, leading to a Marlins 6-2 victory.

Muñoz will pitch against Nick Martinez (5-5, 3.65 ERA), who will make his first start since May 22. He pitched four innings in relief behind opener Tony Santillan in a 6-3 win over the Chicago Cubs last Tuesday, and he is only getting two days' rest after working an inning on Friday against the Giants. However, since he only threw 17 pitches, he probably won't be on any limits.
