Trice Joins Women's Basketball Staff
MIAMI SHORES, Fla.--Former Heather Macy player and coach Abria Trice joins the Barry women's basketball staff for the 2024-25 season. Trice spent two seasons at NCAA Division II Lander University in Greenwood, S.C. She helped the head coach turn the Bearcats around from an 8-19 team in 2022-23 to a 19-11 squad that reached the Peachbelt Conference Tournament semifinals. Senior guard WyKira Johnson-Kelly was named First-Team All-Southeast Region and All-PBC First Team after averaging 17.5 points, 6.1 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game.
