FHP: Man dies in single-vehicle crash in Jefferson County wreck
A 29-year-old man died in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon in Jefferson County, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release. The driver was traveling on Highway 90 east of North Main Street just before 2 p.m. when the car drifted into the grassy shoulder and hit a tree. Laura Young ECB Publishing, Inc. The Howard Academy High School Class of 1969 celebrates its 55th reunion this weekend. Events include a Brunch, Class Meeting, Banquet and Worship Service. On Saturday, July 27, classmates are scheduled to gather at The Barn in the Piney Woods (instead of at the JCS cafeteria) for a Brunch and Class Meeting from 9 to 11 a.m. Later that day at the same location, the Banquet begins at 4 p.m. and lasts until 8 p.m. On Sunday, July 28, the Class of 1969 continues its reunion celebration with a Worship Service from 10 a.m. to noon at Springfield A.M.E.
