Car pulls into path of tractor-trailer near Selma, customers lose power
A car pulled into the path of a fully-loaded tractor trailer on Buffalo Road near Selma early Monday morning, causing the tractor trailer to sideswipe the car. The crash occurred before 8 a.m. in the 6500 block of Buffalo Road. The car was sent spinning off the opposite side of the road, injuring the driver, crews at the scene told WRAL News.
Two Smithfield Men Charged In Clayton Business Break-in
CLAYTON – Two Smithfield residents are facing multiple charges after they reportedly broke into a Clayton-area business. Joshua Shaun Holmes, age 31, of Broadway Street and Damion Daqun Thorne, age 31, of Fayetteville Street, Smithfield are charged with breaking and entering, breaking and entering a motor vehicle, attempted larceny, injury to property, and resisting arrest.
