NCHSAA participation rises in almost every sport, surpasses 200,000 total student-athletes
For the first time since the 2017-2018 school year, the N.C. High School Athletic Association saw more than 200,000 student-athletes compete in sports last school year. Car pulls into path of tractor-trailer near Selma, customers lose power
A car pulled into the path of a fully-loaded tractor trailer on Buffalo Road near Selma early Monday morning, causing the tractor trailer to sideswipe the car. The crash occurred before 8 a.m. in the 6500 block of Buffalo Road. The car was sent spinning off the opposite side of the road, injuring the driver, crews at the scene told WRAL News.
