Plainfield Police Encourage Residents to Lock Car Doors, Keep Items Out of View
PLAINFIELD, NJ — Starting Tuesday last week, the Plainfield Police Department began to encourage Plainfield residents to lock their cars and hide items from view. "Lock your cars after exiting," reads the statement that has been posted on the city's Facebook page two more times since the initial warning. "When leaving vehicles, please place all items out of view. We’re experiencing an uptick in the theft of personal items from unlocked vehicles, and we want to keep your property safe." Union Education Assoc. to Host Annual Town-Wide Block Party
UNION, NJ - A "Town-Wide Block Party", hosted by the Union Township Education Association (UTEA), is set for Tuesday, August 13, in Rabkin Park for all Union residents. "The UTEA tries to find ways to interact with our community," said Ann Margaret Shannon, UTEA President. “The UTEA is excited to mingle and share music, fun, games and a meal with our community."CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TAPINTO.NET NEWSLETTER The fun will include music by a DJ, children’s games and bouncy houses, and a health fair featuring Optical Academy, Zumba, kickboxing, and yoga. Madison Council Meeting is Monday July 22
MADISON, NJ - The Madison Council will hold their monthly council meeting, Monday July 22. The meeting will be in person and livestreamed on YouTube. Members of the public who wish to participate in the meeting may do so by joining us in-person at Hartley Dodge Memorial Council Chamber or view the live stream of the meeting on YouTube or below at 8:00 P.M. on the day of the meeting. Individuals in-person will be able to fully participate in the meeting, including providing public comment. Members watching the live stream will not be able to provide public comments. Car Crashes on Hyatt Hills Golf Course in Clark
Clark, NJ — A single-vehicle accident occurred on the Hyatt Hills Golf Course, located at 1300 Raritan Rd, Sunday evening. Midsummer Music: What’s Happening in Classic Arts This Week
