POLICE K9 TEAM LOCATES MISSING NON-VERBAL AUTISTIC MALE
(Newark, DE 19711) On Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at approximately 1:20 p.m., officers with the New Castle County Division of Police responded to the 100 block of Spruce Glen Drive in the community of Meadowood for a missing non-verbal autistic male. K9 Team, M/Cpl. Cory Best and partner K9 Vudu responded along with patrol and began a track. K9 Vudu was able to obtain a scent and began tracking for less than a quarter of a mile when M/Cpl. Best observed the missing male. He was in good health and safely returned home.

Atkinson named as newest Oxford Area School Board member
