    House, vehicle catches fire in Middletown

    DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A Middletown house caught fire after a vehicle crashed into it.

    The Middletown Division of Police responded to the 4200 block of Central Avenue in Middletown regarding a vehicle into a structure. First responders reportedly saw both the vehicle and house on fire.

    Police were told that the suspected crashed vehicle was traveling south on Curryer Road and struck another vehicle. The alleged vehicle is said to have took off “at a high rate of speed,” lost control and crashed into the home, police said.

    Witnesses at the scene allegedly told police that individuals fled the vehicle.

    At least one individual was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
