Calais dam renovation aims to control flooding
CALAIS, Vt. (WCAX) - A dam in Calais is getting a makeover after last summer’s flooding. The couple hundred Vermonters who call Calais home spent years working to flood-proof the dam on Curtis Pond, only to watch that progress wash down the drain last summer. A year later, they’re ready to put a cork in the damage once and for all.
Man Stuck in New York Cave for Hours Rescued
A 20-year-old man had to be rescued from a cave in upstate New York. If you spend time hiking on any of the numerous trails across New York it's probably a good idea to avoid going into any caves you might come across because it could end up being a situation you aren't able to get yourself out of.

Onsen Ramen, a popular eatery in Essex Junction, shut its doors last Friday after nearly two years in business.
