CARROLLWOOD — Calvin Dickey Jr. was a big man with a big heart. That’s how Carrollwood Day School peers, friends and family will remember the standout athlete — affectionately known as “CJ” — who was getting ready to begin his freshman year playing football at Bucknell University when he died July 12.

Class of 2024 Graduate Rayven Sample to Compete in the U.S.Paralympic Team Trials
LEWISBURG, Pa.- Class of 2024 graduate Rayven Sample heads to hot and humid Florida to compete in the U.S. Paralympic Team Trials for the 2024 Paralympic in Paris from August 30-September 8. The sprinter is entered in the 100-meter and 400-meter dashes, which have been his standard events. Sample competes in the T45 category. Bucknell's sprints coach Richard Alexander has accompanied him. The competition will be streamed on Peacock.
