CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WICS) — The Champaign Police Department conducted a traffic safety campaign throughout the month of July, reminding motorists to slow down to save lives. Efforts of UFD and Arrow Ambulance save man’s life in Urbana
URBANA, IL (Chambana Today) – The City of Urbana Fire Department (UFD) recognized members involved in a cardiac arrest save. On July 18 at 4:45 a.m., Engine 251 (E251) was dispatched to a lift assist and rushed to the scene only to find a locked door and no easy access inside. After looking around and trying to prevent damage to the home, E251 found an open window and entered to unlock the door at the front. There they found a man lying on the floor. They proceeded to help him up, but while doing so, they say that the man went unresponsive and into cardiac arrest.
