Boys & Girls Club of Manhattan held a ribbon cutting for new Early Learning Center
MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) - The Boys and Girls Club of Manhattan held a ribbon cutting today for its new Early Learning Center. The new center will serve kids from 6 weeks to 5 years old. This adds to the other 13 locations across Manhattan and Wamego, which serve elementary to 18-year-olds. There are 9 classrooms and the club is licensed for 156 kids who will participate in fun activities to prepare them for school. Club members said this facility is crucial to the region.

The K State womens basketball team will come to St. Joseph once again as the St. Joseph Sports Commission announces the second annual Bill Snyder Women's Classic. The game will feature an intriguing non conference matchup between the Kansas State Wildcats and the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders. Tip off in the game is currently scheduled for 5pm on December 14th.

The event, called “Pizza and Players,” was sponsored by WTC Fiber. Johnson and Sallis signed mini footballs, met fans, and took pictures with Wildcat supporters of all ages.
