On the afternoon of July 16, a routine investigation by Baltimore police detectives in Curtis Bay swiftly escalated into a vehicular chase that culminated in a crash and the subsequent arrest of two suspects. According to the Baltimore Police Department's post, the incident occurred around 1:55 p.m. when detectives tried to stop a vehicle. Instead of yielding, the driver decided to try and hastily flee, leading the officers through an impromptu chase that ended in the 400 block of Frankfurst Avenue when the vehicle crashed.
