Alex Hong, the chef behind Michelin-starred Sorrel in Pac Heights, announced Tuesday that he is opening a new restaurant and bakery in the expansive Slanted Door space, with an expected opening date of early 2025. Details are scarce on the style of food and the name of the new project, but a press release teases that it will be a “large format, full-service restaurant offering a seasonal ingredient menu rooted in the bounty of the California coastline.” The restaurant will have an open kitchen, seated bar, outdoor seating, and showstopper, Bay Bridge-facing, floor-to-ceiling windows. A South San Francisco Rapper Turned His Sneaker Collection Into an Album
San Francisco-born artist Paul Solis first fell in love with hip-hop and basketball as a youth who grew up on the Peninsula during the mall-going culture of the ’90s. Back then, Raekwon and Ghostface Killah of the indomitable Wu-Tang Clan were two of the flyest humans to traverse the planet. With tri-colored Polo jackets, Nike visors, baggy jeans and wheat-hued Timberland stompers, the rappers helped to define a New York street aesthetic that is still heralded in fashion circles today. Meanwhile, saucy NBA players like Penny Hardaway, Jason Kidd and Charles Barkley began rocking signature pairs of Nikes and revolutionizing the way athletes could express themselves off the court.

Another day of rockfish and lingcod fishing along the coast
Another day of rockfish and lingcod fishing along the coast with slower action that we’ve had for the past couple weeks primarily due to tackle choices. The coastal fish are feeding on anchovies big time right now so the crew will recommend live bait leaders to fish both the rockfish and lingcod >>>> it’s best take the recommendation of the crew until you feel you can play with whatever you feel will attract your trophy. We finished up with 240 rockfish and 25 lingcod for our 24 anglers.
