Foot chase following car theft leads to several arrests in Mill Valley: PD

( KRON ) — Multiple police departments responded to a car theft in Mill Valley on Wednesday night. Police arrested several suspects following a crash and a foot chase, the Mill Valley Police Department said.

Police initially responded to reports of a car theft involving several suspects in Mill Valley. Upon arriving, police said the theft “quickly escalated” when the suspects attempted to flee “with reckless disregard” for others on the road.

The chase eventually led to a crash (pictured above). After crashing, police said the suspects attempted to flee on foot. Mill Valley PD, along with the Tiburon Police Department and the California Highway Patrol in Marin, chased the suspects and soon after arrested them at the scene.

The suspects’ identities remained withheld by PD. No injuries were reported.
