Motorcyclist killed in collision with vehicle at Millcreek intersection

MILLCREEK, Utah ( ABC4 ) — A motorcyclist was killed Friday night after colliding with a vehicle at a Millcreek intersection, according to Unified Police.

The accident occurred at 3900 South and Highland Dr., police said. A motorcyclist was reportedly heading northbound on Highland Dr. when they turned to go westbound on 3900 South.

At the same time, a vehicle was heading southbound on Highland Dr. when the driver went through a green light. While going through the intersection, the driver reportedly collided with the motorcyclist.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead on scene.

Further details on the circumstances of the crash have not been made available at this time. The identity of the victim has not been released.
