MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. (WGXA) — The Milledgeville Downtown Development Authority is celebrating Christmas in July with a holiday market this weekend. According to a release, the 2024 Downtown Milledgeville Christmas in July Market is promising 30 vendors with food trucks featuring Glo's Thighs and Pies, Devereux Crab Shack and Kona Ice this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Annex located at 127 East Hancock Street.

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A new judge has been assigned to take over Young Thug’s internationally watched criminal trial in Atlanta. According to the Fulton County Superior Court, Shukura Ingram is an appointee of former Gov. Nathan Deal who won reelection in May after running unopposed. She served on Fulton County’s magistrate court from 2015-2018. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Clark Atlanta University and a law degree from Georgia State University.

A federal judge ruled that the Biden administration complied with the law when it declined to grant an extension to Georgia's year-old Medicaid plan, which is the only one in the country that has a work requirement for recipients of the publicly funded health coverage for low-income people.
