Beloved Elmira hot-doggery M&M Red Hots reopened last week amid much fanfare after being closed since the COVID-19 pandemic. The new owner, Katie Seymour, will run the restaurant with her fiancé, Ryan Gallagher. The couple took the reins from Katie’s father, Andy Seymour, who took it over from his mother, Wilda DeHaas, in 2017.

Teams will begin playing 3-on-3 games at 8 a.m. Saturday and the tournament will continue through Sunday, said Emmie Agee, Gaffer District Marketing Manager. The games are played to 21 points on a half-court.

MAMAKATING – Two people have been arrested following a traffic stop on Route 17 west in the Town of Mamakating on weapons possession charges.
