    The Milltown Police Department is seeking community-minded, dedicated applicants to be crossing guards for the 2024-25 academic year.

    MILLTOWN, NJ - The Milltown Police Department is hiring school crossing guards for the 2024-25 Milltown School District academic year.

    "As a school crossing guard, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our children as they travel to and from school," Milltown Chief of Police Christopher Johnson said. "Your presence will provide peace of mind for parents and create a safer environment for everyone. This is more than just a job – it’s a chance to give back to your community, safeguard our children, and be a positive role model."

    The starting salary is $18.60. Work hours are three hours and thirty minutes per day, Monday through Friday. According to a Nixle advisory from the Milltown Police Department, the MPD seeking applicants who:

    • Are dedicated and community-minded
    • Are passionate about child safety
    • Want to make a difference
