3 candidates for Governor join forum devoted to entrepreneurship
Half of the six candidates running to be Delaware's next Governor turned out for a forum on entrepreneurship Tuesday in Wilmington. The exchange was hosted by Spur Impact. Issues included how to encourage each of Delaware's three counties to thrive, and what the state's role should be in encouraging entrepreneurship.
Number of Delaware state legislative incumbents facing primary challengers near average from 2010-2022
Delaware has 13 contested state legislative primaries this year, one less than in 2022 when 14 state legislative primaries were contested. Of the 13 contested primaries, 10 are for Democrats and three are for Republicans. For Democrats, this is one less than in 2022 when there were 11 Democratic primaries. The three Republican primaries are the same number as in 2022.

New park under construction at old Wilmington reservoir site
The property that contained a long-abandoned Wilmington city reservoir is being transformed into a community park in the Hilltop- Little Italy area.
