Dinah SOAR Days Voted Favorite Local Event Among Uintah County Residents
It’s the most wonderful time of the year, according to a Vernal City survey. Dinah SOAR Days starts in Vernal today. The 2023 survey asked Uintah County residents about their favorite local events and you guessed it! The favorite event of those surveyed is the Dinah SOAR Days Hot Air Balloon Festival. Surveyors could vote for more than one event. The balloon festival was followed by Holly Days, Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo, FreedomFest, Farmers Market, Hotel Vernal Haunt, Uintah County Fair, and the list goes on. So what can you expect for this weekend’s favorite event? The balloon launch is in the mornings at 6:30am at the Vernal Middle School fields. There is the Dinah Days Market at the park in front of the Uintah County Library. Watch for chalk artists, live entertainment, and activities. There is the Vern and Al Party at the Dinosaur Museum on Saturday from 9am to 1pm. Main Street downtown is closed to traffic by 6pm when there will be live music and the Dinaland Car Club Cruise show along with the Balloon Night Glow after 8pm.
