Bassette Family Opened New Tasting Room At Their Airy Acres Vineyard
The Bassette family at Airy Acres Vineyard is thrilled to announce that they are opening their brand-new tasting room!. Airy Acres Vineyard is owned by former Honeoye Falls residents Fred and Pam Bassette and their children, Danny, Adele, Josh and Noah. The four Bassette children graduated from Honeoye Falls-Lima High School. Fred and Pam Bassette inherited the family land in Interlaken in 2014, and the family started growing vines in 2015 and they moved to Interlaken in 2016. The family invited everyone to come visit them for the Grand Opening on July 20th at the vineyard as they opened the new tasting room in the Bassette children’s grandmother’s renovated farmhouse. The family farmhouse has undergone extensive renovations for over a year and is now ready to host tastings and events for all.

5-year-old boy dies from injuries after being rescued from Rochester fire
Rochester, N.Y. — Malakai Stovall, 5, died from his injuries Thursday morning, three days after he was rescued from a fire at his home on the city's northeast side. Authorities believe the fire was set intentionally at the entrance of a duplex on Portland Avenue near Shelmont Drive around 2 a.m. Monday. Police couldn't elaborate on what was used to start the fire, but they said the flames spread quickly, which complicated rescue efforts.
