BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - An alleged fentanyl dealer already facing federal charges, was in state court Tuesday morning on other drug charges. Kajuan Woods, 35, pleaded not guilty to cocaine possession. Paperwork says that South Burlington Police in May saw Woods passed out in a car with a woman. They say the car had drugs, a gun, and thousands of dollars of stolen goods inside.
New Jersey fugitive caught in South Burlington
A fugitive from New Jersey has reportedly been caught in South Burlington. The Chittenden County Sheriff’s Office says they arrested Jamir Fitzgerald, 22, of Jersey City. In a reply to several follow-up questions, investigators said they caught Fitzgerald at about 3:00 p.m. Friday at a business on Shelburne Road. They also said a shoplifting complaint from the business led deputies from the Street Crime Unit to him.
