    Red Lobster is closing 23 more restaurants. How does this affect Wisconsin locations?

    More than three months after filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy , the seafood restaurant chain Red Lobster indicated that it's closing 23 more locations.

    According to USA TODAY , in a 23-page court document filed Aug. 22 in U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida, the Orlando-based company said it's rejecting the leases of the 23 locations by Aug. 31.

    This brings the total to at least 129 recent Red Lobster closures across the U.S. , including two abrupt closures in Wisconsin this spring.

    So, how will this latest closure news affect Wisconsin's remaining six Red Lobster restaurants? Here's what to know:

    Which Red Lobster locations are closing?

    This latest round of closures doesn't appear to affect any of Red Lobster's remaining Wisconsin locations. However, it will closer multiple locations in northern Illinois and around the Midwest.

    The following 23 Red Lobster locations are expected to close soon, according to USA TODAY:

    • Arizona : Yuma (1521 S. Yuma Palms Parkway)
    • Arkansas : Little Rock (8407 W. Markham St.)
    • California : La Mesa (8703 Murray Drive)
    • Colorado : Colorado Springs (4925 N. Academy Blvd.)
    • Florida : Fort Walton Beach (326 Miracle Strip Parkway S.W.), Pensacola (5110 N. 9th Ave.) and Port Richey (8909 US Highway 19)
    • Georgia : Jonesboro (6550 Tara Blvd.)
    • Illinois : Bourbonnais (1604 N. State Road Route 50), Geneva (902 Commons Drive) and Peoria (4625 N. Sterling Ave.)
    • Indiana : Michigan City (4353 Franklin St.)
    • Minnesota : Golden Valley (8900 Golden Valley Road) and Maple Grove (12515 Elm Creek Blvd. N.)
    • Missouri : Maplewood (2381 Maplewood Commons Drive)
    • New York : Bronx (925 Hunts Point Ave.) and Queensbury (750 Upper Glen St.)
    • North Carolina : Jacksonville (304 A Western Blvd.)
    • Ohio : Strongsville (17227 Southpark Center)
    • South Carolina : Cayce (1270 Knox Abbott Drive)
    • Virginia : Alexandria (555 S. Van Dorn St.), Richmond (4415 S. Laburnum Ave.) and Virginia Beach (709 Independence Blvd.)

    Which Red Lobster locations have closed in Wisconsin?

    Two Red Lobster locations recently closed in Wisconsin : Wauwatosa (2801 N. Mayfair Rd/) and La Crosse (3333 State 16). The restaurants closed in May as part of the sudden shuttering of at least 48 Red Lobster locations across the country.

    Where are Wisconsin's remaining Red Lobster restaurants?

    According to the location finder on Red Lobster's website, six locations remain in Wisconsin:

    • Appleton (Grand Chute): 1200 N. Casaloma Dr.
    • Ashwaubenon : 1251 Lombardi Access Rd.
    • Eau Claire: 1019 W. Clairemont Ave.
    • Greenfield: 4645 South 76th St.
    • Madison: 4502 East Towne Blvd.
    • Mount Pleasant: 2800 S. Green Bay Rd.
