The second "most special moment" of Kelsey Jackson's life happened at Keith Urban's Summerfest show Saturday. The first? When Jackson's fiancé proposed to her last year.

Jackson, a lifelong Milwaukeean, has been an Urban fan for "forever."

Ahead of the concert, Jackson wanted to make a poster that would catch the country star's attention. When she was trying to come up with something cute and funny to put on it, she discovered that Urban's birthday and her upcoming wedding share the same date: Oct. 26.

"It was like random odds that it just aligned," Jackson said.

She went with it and made a purple sign that said: "Keith, we're getting married this year on your birthday - October 26! Take a pic with us."

    And, boy did it work!

Wanting to be front and center, Jackson and her fiancé Collin Ciombor started waiting outside the American Family Insurance Amphitheater at 2 p.m. for the 7:30 p.m. show. They were around ninth and 10th in line. The couple's first date was actually on the Summerfest grounds, but not for the Big Gig (more on that later).

When Urban was three songs in, Jackson and Ciombor put the poster up. Urban noticed it "right away," Jackson said. But, just in case he wouldn't have, Ciombor's dad — who was in the pit with them — brought a shirt along that said the same thing as the poster.

Urban asked Jackson and Ciombor if they were actually getting married on that date as he came over by them, Jackson recalled. Ciombor grabbed the official wedding invite they brought for Urban out of his fiancée's fanny pack and handed it to him.

"He reads it out loud and everything," Jackson said.

Urban complimented Jackson's name since her middle name is "Nicole," which is Urban's wife's name. Urban and Nicole Kidman recently celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary.

While Urban said he wouldn't be able to make it to the wedding, he gave the couple the honor of picking the next song. Jackson chose "You're My Better Half."

"That song just really signifies who we are as a couple," she said. "We listen to that song on repeat."

Urban grabbed his guitar, sat down on the edge of the stage in front of the pair and played their request.

When he was finished, Jackson said, Urban grabbed her hand and gave her a hug.

"I think I blacked out," Jackson said. "It was one of the best moments of my life."

"I think it's so insane that it actually happened," Ciombor said. "I can't believe it."

In his review of the concert, Cal Roach called the couple's special encounter with Urban "the most interesting part of Saturday night's show by far."

Back in 2022, the second concert Jackson and Ciombor ever went to together was Urban's, also at the Am Fam amp.

"He's just like a super, down-to-earth person," Jackson said. "I love his music, his voice, the way he plays guitar, the way he performs. Everything about him is just amazing."

The country-loving couple is on their own music tour of sorts. Within the past few weeks, they've seen Lonestar in Illinois, Morgan Wallen in Minnesota and Kenny Chesney in Milwaukee, plus REO Speedwagon at Summerfest. They'll be back at the lakefront Saturday for Chase Rice.

A look at their love story: From how they met to their upcoming wedding

In 2018, while Ciombor was a student at Cardinal Stritch University and Jackson was attending the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, they matched on the dating app Bumble.

Now, Ciombor is a registered nurse and Ciombor is a medical assistant.

But back then, Ciombor — who was in his school's student nursing association — volunteered at a breast cancer walk at Henry Maier Festival Park and invited Jackson to come along.

"We've just had this connection since the day we first met," Jackson said. "It was just unexplainable. Like, everything about each other just clicked. We're so much alike that we just get along all the time."

Weeks later, as the two were driving, Ciombor asked Jackson out.

"She was like, 'Out where?'" Ciombor said, laughing. "I was like, 'With me.' And, now we're here getting married in a few months."

On Oct. 26, 2018 — there's that date again — they went on their first official date, at the Milwaukee County Zoo.

Fast-forward to Memorial Day weekend last year. Ciombor, his family and Jackson went up to their Three Lakes lake house.

One morning, Ciombor woke Jackson up just before sunrise.

When they got out to the lake, Ciombor told Jackson that he wanted to snap a pic of her facing the sunrise with her arms out as if she was hugging it.

While she was facing away from Ciombor, he got down on one knee.

"It took her about 30 seconds to turn back around, so I was sitting there on my knee, just freaking out," Ciombor said. "She turned around and then I asked her to marry me and we hugged. And, here we are."

Jackson's family joined them up at the cabin within hours. While Ciombor had been planning the proposal for a year and a half, Jackson said she didn't see it coming that weekend.

"I can't imagine my life without him," she said.

The couple will be having a big wedding at Eagle Waters Resort, which "screams up north Wisconsin," Jackson said.

Besides going to concerts, the two enjoy spending time with their fur babies, dogs Dewey and Zara, hiking, going to the gym, power lifting, cooking, being outside and going to their cabin.

"We have so much in common," Ciombor said. "We do the same things. We like the same things. We hate the same things. ... We just work together so well."
