Justice named vaccine incentive lottery after Babydog in 2021

In June 2021, Justice launched a multi-million-dollar COVID-19 vaccine incentive lottery named after his bulldog called " Do it for Babydog "

"If you can't do it for yourself and you can't do it for your family, then do it for Babydog," Justice said in a news release. "If you don't get vaccinated not only are you missing an opportunity to do great stuff for yourself and your loved ones, but you will also miss out on the opportunity to win big ."

The program was criticized when more than $20 million in federal taxpayer money was spent on prizes for the sweepstakes prizes, according to CBS News . Justice argued that the contest was a necessary way to encourage people to get vaccinated against the virus during the pandemic.
