Milwaukee police ask for help finding critically missing teen girl

Milwaukee police are asking for the public's help in finding a critically missing 17-year-old girl.

Melissia Harris was last seen Tuesday morning at around 7:51 a.m. in the 3700 block of West Sarnow Street.

Harris is described as 4 feet, 11 inches tall weighing approximately 130 pounds with long braided black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, purple tank top, black pants and black Croc shoes.

Anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of Harris is asked to call the Milwaukee Police Department, District 3, at 414-935-7232.

"Critical missing" is a label police apply to people who may be especially vulnerable due to a variety of factors.
