Boyer Valley cross country bringing full roster for both girls, boys to 2024
(Dunlap) -- Boyer Valley cross country brings a full roster for both their girls and their boys heading into the 2024 season. “This group of kids is a hard-working group of kids,” Bulldogs head coach Kent Hall told KMA Sports. “We’ve been running north of Dow City, and a lot of the kids have been working real hard about 6 in the morning, out running hills in the dirt roads. Typical cross country in Western Iowa.”

Fatal Accident in Clarke County
(Clarke Co) A Des Moines man died following a motorcycle accident in Clarke County. The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at 12:58 p.m. today (Friday) on I-35. Witnesses stated that 38-year-old James Paul Qualls, driving a 2014 Harley Davidson northbound, passed multiple vehicles at a high rate of speed. He then took Exit 33 and drove off the roadway. Qualls lost control and the motorcycle overturned, striking a sign post. Qualls was thrown from the motorcycle. The motorcycle rolled down the embankment and came to rest in the ditch.
