Vitatoe named new president of STVM High School
AKRON — St. Vincent-St. Mary High School (STVM) announced July 29 that David Vitatoe will be the school’s next president. Vitatoe earned a bachelor’s degree from John Carroll University, a master’s degree from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management and a master’s in education from Xavier University. He most recently served at Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) as interim vice president of advancement and president of the NEOMED Foundation. An Akron native, Vitatoe attended St. Hilary grade school and Walsh Jesuit High School. His mother, Rose (Mastrolonardo) Vitatoe, is an alumna of St. Vincent High School. He is a member of St. Rita Parish and lives in Reminderville with his wife and three children.
