It's been four years since the Bachelor Farmer closed up shop during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, some of the restaurant's key staff are preparing a new culinary endeavor in Linden Hills.

Jonathan Gans and Josh Hoyt, the executive chef and director of operations of the Bachelor Farmer, respectively, are opening a French-inspired restaurant with a focus on an American diner classic, the burger. Fittingly, it's called Le Burger.

Planned for 4304 Upton Ave. S., Le Burger aims to bring flair to some American classics.

"We’ll be serving burgers, roasted chicken by the piece, house made fries, salads and a few shareables and soft serve ice cream," Gans tells Bring Me The News.

The restaurant will also serve beer, wine, and a "small" cocktail menu, guided by Peder Schweigert, another alum of the Bachelor Farmer and its beloved cocktail bar, Marvel Bar.

The new Linden Hills restaurant plans to open at some point this fall.
