Vikings receiver Jordan Addison was arrested Friday night on suspicion of driving under the influence after he was allegedly “asleep behind the wheel” in the area around Los Angeles International Airport, according to the Los Angeles Daily News .

“We are aware of Jordan Addison’s arrest this past Friday and are currently gathering more information regarding the incident,” the Vikings said in a statement Sunday night, according to ESPN .

Addison’s vehicle was blocking “a lane of I-105,” according to ESPN , which cited the California Highway Patrol.

He was found asleep behind the wheel, according to the arrest report obtained by the Daily News.

Addison, who started his collegiate career at Pittsburgh before spending a final season with quarterback Caleb Williams and USC, was also involved in a legal issue last offseason, as he was cited before his first NFL campaign with the Vikings — who selected him in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft — began.

Addison said that his “dog was having an emergency at his residence,” the outlet added.

“Yesterday morning I made a mistake and used poor judgment,” Addison said in a statement last July, in his first public comments following the citation. “I recognize and own that. I am going to learn from this and not repeat the behavior. I am truly sorry.”

In a later agreement, the reckless driving charge was dismissed.

Addison pled guilty to the speeding charge and agreed to $686 in fees and fines, according to ESPN.
