On Sunday, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever came into Minneapolis and took down the Minnesota Lynx, 81-74.

Clark's appearance led to yet another record-setting, sellout crowd. Sunday's attendance at the Target Center marked the largest regular-season crowd in the franchise's history, trailing only Game 5 of the 2016 WNBA Finals.

The "Caitlin Clark Effect" is very real, but some have been hesitant to give the Fever's No. 1 pick full credit for these record-setting numbers. After the game, Lynx/Team USA head coach Cheryl Reeve made sure to set the record straight.

"Everybody knows that the reason why our teams around the league are having sellouts is because Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are coming to town," Reeve said.

Reeve also mentioned Angel Reese and her impact on crowd attendance as a rookie for the Chicago Sky. The Lynx coach said the WNBA needs to be ready to capitalize on the league's skyrocketing popularity.

"The league has been building for a watershed moment," she continued. "We're here. We've got to take advantage of it."

Clark and the Fever will no doubt bring another record-setting crowd to Dallas when they face off against the Wings on Wednesday night.
