Few players on the planet have been as hyped as Chloe Primerano, and she's yet to step on the ice for an NCAA game. She also just signed her first ever NIL endorsement, joining CWENCH Hydration's athlete team.

The CWENCH lineup now includes Andrew Wiggins, Adriana Leon, Nathan MacKinnon, and Chloe Primerano.

"It's definitely a really big deal now that college athletes can make some NIL deals," Primerano said. "I'm honored to work with such a great company and such great people. It's awesome that they put that trust in me, faith in me, to represent their brand in the right way..."

Many believe the 17-year-old North Vancouver product who is entering the NCAA a year early with the University of Minnesota , is already good enough to play for Team Canada's senior national team.

Primerano, who has been described as a women's hockey phenom , decided to make the jump to the University of Minnesota a year before the remainder of her cohort enters NCAA hockey. The now former RINK Academy Kelowna defender, who is the back-to-back Canadian Sports School Hockey League most valuable player, and was the U-18 World Championship's MVP, Best Defender, and leading scorer for Canada last year , is looking for new challenges against NCAA competition.

"Just being challenge and playing at the highest level that I can play at was a big thing for me. Pushing myself, I'm going to get better when I'm playing against higher competition, was definitely a factor, and I'm really happy I made that decision," Primerano said about jumping to Minnesota. She scored 16 points in six games at the U-18 World Championships, the most ever by a defender at the tournament, and added 35 goals and 89 points in only 29 games with RINK in CSSHL action.

The challenge is one Primerano said she's looking forward to, and she's excited to play alongside national team members like Abbey Murphy (USA), Natalie Mlynkova (Czechia), Nelli Laitinen (Finland), Krista Parkonnen (Finland), Josefin Bouveng (Sweden) and Emma Kreisz (Hungary) in Minnesota and challenge Ohio State and Wisconsin for national supremacy.

"We've got a really strong group going into the year and I'm excited to play with a lot of amazing players and definitely learn from all of them and the coaching staff as well. As a team we're looking really strong and hopefully we can go all the way and win a national championship," Primerano said.

When she does make her debut with the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers women's hockey team, the countdown will be on for Primerano to not only sign NIL deals, but to make the jump to the PWHL and make a living as a professional hockey player.

"It's unbelievable, especially with the PWHL, seeing something you can work toward and have that goal of playing professional, playing hockey as a job, and making a living off of it, it's really special," she said.

Whether it's NIL deals, national team success, NCAA titles, or a spot in the PWHL, good things are coming for Chloe Primerano. In fact, good things have already arrived, and they're only going to get better.
