Justin Jefferson signed a $140 million contract extension with the Minnesota Vikings earlier this offseason, making him the highest-paid wideout in the NFL. Despite that, however, the star wide receiver doesn't plan to upgrade his home any time soon.

For those not in the know, Jefferson admitted in the Netflix documentary "Receiver"--which was filmed in 2023--that he's still living in a $405,000 Minneapolis townhouse. Naturally, after his latest contract extension, many would expect him to move to a bigger and better house or even a mansion.

Jefferson, nonetheless, wasn't raised that way. He's grateful with what he currently has, and he sees no reason to rush moving to a new home. He's not saying he won't eventually, but it isn't a big priority for him even with the generational wealth he owns.

"I'm one person, I ain't got no big family . I don't need to be in no $10 million mansion, that's not something I came from," Jefferson said, via Jeff Wald of FOX9.

"I grew up with parents that were grateful for what they had, and I was grateful for what I grew up with. I never grew up having no big old house, maybe I'll move onto that, maybe not. I guess we'll find out sooner or later."

Justin Jefferson's contract with the Vikings includes $110 million in guaranteed money. The yearly average value of his deal is $35 million, so he can more than afford a multi-million mansion.

Having said that, props should be given to the Vikings superstar for being smart with his money and not going on an impulsive spending spree.
