Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison has an answer on what his charges are stemming from his July arrest.

According to The Star Tribune's Ben Goessling , Addison was officially charged with two misdemeanors: driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with blood-alcohol content (BAC) over California's legal limit of 0.08. If Addison is convicted, he could face fines up to $2,000, up to six months in jail and/or a suspension of his license for up to six months.

It's important to note that Goessling reports that Addison's charges are specifically related to alcohol, whereas California DUI law encompasses both illegal and prescription drugs.

Addison is scheduled to appear in court on October 7th to be arraigned and enter his plea. The Vikings play a game against the New York Jets on October 6th in London, which could complicate things. With some arraignments, the defendant doesn't always have to be present and could be represented by a lawyer.

This is the second incident for Addison, as he was cited for speeding, going 140 mph on Interstate 94 a year prior in July of 2023.

If Addison is convicted or settles the case, he will be subject to suspension per the NFL's personal conduct policy, which could be a three-game suspension.
