Former LSU Tigers receiver Justin Jefferson racked up nearly 70 catches for 1,074 yards and five touchdowns last season as his Minnesota Vikings fought through injuries and ineffective play at the quarterback position.

On Tuesday, Vikings reporter Kevin Seifert revealed that Jefferson missed practice due to a personal matter.

One day later, Jefferson's latest practice status with Coach Kevin O'Connell's team was revealed.

Jefferson and offensive tackle Christian Darrisaw both practiced on Wednesday according to Seifert on X.

Jefferson said he's spent extra time after practice on the field running routes with rookie QB JJ McCarthy.

"I'm always getting work with him," Jefferson said. "If it's not on the field, it's after practice, he's asking me different questions on what reads I'm looking at or how to better read (things) on plays we have throughout practices.

"He's always asking me questions and always trying to learn any way he can."
