NORTH CAROLINA, USA — A new alcohol law may be coming to North Carolina, it would allow you to add an alcoholic drink to your to-go order. SB 527 proposes to allow licensed establishments to sell to-go mixed drinks with the purchase of food. The bill also states that the drinks must be in a secured container.

Wildlife Commission announces 2024 wild turkey harvest total
RALEIGH — Results from the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission’s (NCWRC) 2024 Wild Turkey Harvest Summary report show that hunters recorded 24,074 birds harvested statewide in 2024, including 2,372 birds taken during the youth season.
