List of Minnesota services currently affected by the global IT outage

A global IT outage caused by a faulty Microsoft update has led to systems across the globe to go dark, making it one of the biggest internet outages in history.

Here is a list of the Minnesota companies that have been affected by the outages:

• The American Swedish Institute said around 9:45 a.m. that it couldn't process memberships or payments, but posted again that it was back up around 10:30 a.m.
• Anoka County had outages across the city, and asked community members to check with individual services and departments to see if they are currently operational.
• The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office posted a statement that due to the computer outages dispatchers may take longer in responding, but that its computers should be "back to normal operations" soon.
• Multiple airlines at MSP Airport such as Delta, Sun Country Airlines, Frontier and more have had to cancel and delay flights.
• The Overture Center for the Arts has reported that "due to the extensive global technology outage', its ticketing system and website are down, making the center unable to process online sales or in person.
• Ramsey County says "many Ramsey County computers are down as a result, and certain services may not be available at this time."
• The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office posted a statement indicating that the outage was also affecting emergency services, but said its communications facility is still functioning and there is no disruption to emergency response.
• The Minnesota Air Quality Index webpage is also down due to the outage. The MPCA is working on fixing it but do not have an estimated restoration time.
• The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources reported issues with its services, saying its state parks reservation system is currently down and "users of DNR's Info Center or License Center may experience longer wait times."
• The local Minnesotan Social Security offices will be closed today due to the internet outages, however phone lines remain active.
• The City of Hawley posted on Facebook that due to the outages, it is unable to process online or credit card payments for utility bills.
• The State of Minnesota’s Department of Vehicle Services (DVS) system is also down and unable to process any transactions. The department has been able to bring computers and phones back online at some DVS offices. The DVS Now Kiosks at Cub locations are not impacted, however the Department of Public Safety website is also affected.
• Minnesota's Pollution Control agency and Department of Agriculture have also reported issues due to the IT outage.
• Washington County reports that its computers are down, which had led to "limited use of certain services."
• WCCO posted at 5:18 a.m. that the outage delayed the broadcast of its "This Morning" show and that it was working to resolve the issue and get on air "asap."
