Mika Brzezinski Compares Kamala Harris Rallies to Taylor Swift Concerts Because People Get Dehydrated

Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski compared Vice President Kamala Harris’s rallies to Taylor Swift and Adele concerts after Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) helped a dehydrated rally goer.

Brzezinski noted the moment on Thursday while comparing and contrasting Harris’s rallies to those of Donald Trump and his running mate JD Vance . Walz stopped a speech in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to point out someone in the crowd who needed help because of the heat.

Brzezinski pointed to the dehydration and heat as proof people are “excited” about the ticket because similar moments have come out of Adele and Swift concerts.

“People, like, getting so overheated at rallies or in audiences and needing water — you know where that happens? At Adele concerts, at Taylor Swift concerts. That’s like — you get them on Instagram. You see those moments where Adele is like, ‘Stop, stop, please, let’s get this person some water,” she said. “And Tim Walz literally did that yesterday because somebody needed water and it was trending as this incredible moment. I don’t know what’s going on, but people are very excited about this ticket and this ticket knows it needs to keep working.”

Walz stopped the Wisconsin rally for a moment when he noticed someone in the crowd overheating. The outdoor rally was held on Wednesday when the high near Eau Claire was close to 80 degrees.

“Can we get somebody to help? Somebody’s hot,” Walz said, pointing into the crowd.

The governor told the crowd to “take of each other” and “drink water.”

“Thank you all for helping,” he said. “Grateful. Thank you. Thank you all. Take care of one another on this. This is why we gather.”
