‘I Thought Old White Men Were The Problem?’ Fox Outnumbered Panel Blasts Tim Walz As A Leftist ‘Wrapped In A Flannel Shirt’

A panel on Outnumbered slammed Kamala Harris’s vice presidential nominee, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, as a far-leftist “wrapped in a flannel shirt.”

Larry Kudlow opened the discussion by claiming that Harris picked Walz as her running mate because “she needed to pick someone from the Bernie Sanders left” of the party. The Fox anchor added that as governor he has had “an extreme left-wing record.”

“The state is losing his population,” Kudlow continued. “Businesses are moving out, has one of the worst employment situations in the country. And of course he has very far left social engineering type policies. I mean, this is a Bernie Sanders approach. Let’s not kid ourselves.”

Fellow panelist Emily Compagno agreed with Kudlow by noting Harris’ decision to pick Walz is “an entire manufactured joke. And remember, I thought old white men were the problem. Apparently. Now, however, it’s endearingly folksy.

Lisa Kennedy closed the segment by describing Walz as “the most dangerous kind of progressive” who is “wrapped in a flannel shirt.”

I think he’s the most dangerous kind of progressive, because he is one that they’ve wrapped in a flannel shirt and this false mythology in order to get away from his real record, which is incredibly dangerous to Americans who are hurting most right now. For people whose wages are not meeting inflation, they’re the ones who are going to be hurt by a high tax environment where the federal government is going to take more control than they ever have from two people who lust for power. And I don’t care about his temperament. His policies are incredibly dangerous and could be the absolute worst thing for this country, considering the economic environment we’re in right now.
