WV man sentenced to prison on Ohio drug charge
IRONTON — A West Virginia man was sentenced to two years in prison as part of a negotiated plea deal in Lawrence County Common Pleas Court earlier this week. Christopher A. Adkins, 32, of Big Ugly Road, Harts, West Virginia, was sentenced by Judge Andy Ballard. Adkins was indicted last year on a charge of aggravated possession of drugs.

The Logan baseball team captured the West Virginia Senior League state championship on July 8 as they went to Webster Springs and defeated Sophia 7-2 for all the marbles.
