Big things are happening for the Mobile, Alabama, boys. The Red Clay Strays have been on a roll these last few months, and what better way to celebrate their previous music ahead of their Made By These Moments album release than to have "Wondering Why" hit a major RIAA certification. Released in 2022, “Wondering Why” was the band's first major single, landing them on the
Billboard charts. The track blew up on social media platforms like TikTok and really put their blues and southern rock-inspired sound on the map. Since then, the boys have been on fire, selling out show after show and gaining a massive following. Today, the song that put them on the map reached a significant milestone: RIAA Certified Gold. For a single to be Certified Gold, it has to have sold more than 500,000 units.

    "'Wondering Why' is certified gold!"

The songs they have showcased thus far from their forthcoming album make it seem as though many, many more RIAA-certified singles are in their future. In honor of the song that started it all, fire up "Wondering Why" today and push that Gold certification towards Platinum. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JbxfFKvoAU4
