    Mobile man accused of stealing from AutoZone: MPD

    MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — A local man was arrested after he allegedly stole several hundred dollars from his place of work, according to the Mobile Police Department.

    Officers with MPD arrested 28-year-old Jeremey Brian Stewart, of Mobile, around 4:10 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17, after responding to the AutoZone at 407 Holcomb St., in reference to an employee theft, the report said.

    LOCATION:

    Police said Stewart stole several hundred dollars from the business’s cash register.

    Stewart was arrested and taken to Metro Jail on charges of third-degree theft of property, according to the jail log. He was released on a $3,000 bond.
