MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — The city of Mobile no longer qualifies for a $300,000 grant from the Department of Justice due to a decrease in gun violence in the city, according to Public Safety Director Rob Lasky.

In the city precouncil meeting Tuesday morning, Lasky said to qualify for the grant, the city must show an increase in gun violence.
