(FOX40.COM) — A man was killed on Saturday evening after he was stabbed during a fight in Stanislaus County, according to the Modesto Police Department.

Police said the incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Trenary Way, about a mile west of George Rogers Park.

When police arrived at the scene, they said officers found two men suffering from stab wounds. Abraham Terrones-Linares, 27, was taken to a hospital immediately where medical staff pronounced him dead due to his injuries.

The other man at the scene, 33-year-old Abel Camarillo, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries before being arrested and charged with homicide, police said.

“Details of what led up to this incident remain under investigation at this time,” Modesto police said.
